My third son is a Cub Scout and I’m only just starting to understand how the program works. I put together the answers to a few FAQ’s that may help other parents who are new to scouting. I’m hoping we can start giving this out to the parents in our pack.
It’s two pages, meant to be printed or copied front to back in full color, then folded in half.
The one I put together for our pack is a little bit customized, but this one should be easy enough for you to fill it for your own pack. For example, the arrow above indicates places for your Wolf den and pack information.
The interior is very similar, with some blank spaces that you can fill out with your local information. You’ll notice that it’s also specific to LDS dens (hence the Religious Knot and Faith in God information). Fill out info on your local Scout Shop and your Primary Faith in God specialist or the name of your Primary Presidency counselor over Cubs or Faith in God.
This little booklet would actually be perfect for a Baptism Preview night. It’s a quick overview of what to expect from Cub Scouts ages 8-11.
